Can we add extra nights before, during and after our tour?

Yes, you can. It is common for our clients to add extra nights before, during, or after their tour, and we can offer assistance with booking these extra nights for you. In many cases, we publish rates for extra nights before and after a tour based on the accommodation standard for the tour, and you can select these at the time of booking your tour. 

If you would like to add extra days during your itinerary, perhaps as rest days, or even shorten your itinerary, this is an option in almost all cases for our self-guided tours. In this case, please send your enquiry via the tour profile page, detailing where and how many extra nights you may require. Our sales team can then investigate costs and prepare a quotation for the entire itinerary, inclusive of the extra nights. If you are happy to proceed, you can follow the payment link on the quotation, and the team will begin checking accommodation availability for the quoted itinerary, and confirm your tour.

Important notes:

• Our extra night rates published on the booking form are per person. Therefore, one must select two people in the box for a twin/double room. 
• If you require more than one consecutive night, please let us know this within the booking comments section and our sales team will adjust your booking request accordingly. An updated invoice will subsequently be sent to you to reflect the number of nights required. 
• Triple rooms for the extra nights may be possible to book for you; however, we do not publish rates for these. Instead, please request a quote for a triple room through the booking comments box. Our sales team will be in touch and can apply the triple room request to your booking, if you'd like to proceed.
• The extra accommodation hotels are generally requested at the start and end hotels of the tour. Should you prefer to stay in an alternative location, our sales team can look into some options for you within the hotel contracts we have at our disposal.
• In some cases, availability may prevent us from booking the same hotel as the start/end hotel. In these cases, our sales team will advise you and provide alternative options for you to consider.
• Should you wish to upgrade the hotel for the extra nights, please stipulate this in the booking comments box, and our sales team will provide a quotation for you.
• Once a reservation for extra nights is confirmed for your tour booking, amendments will incur a booking change fee in most cases. Once your final balance has been paid by the balance due date, the cancellation of any extra accommodation confirmed will be subject to our standard cancellation terms.
